I have heard about the Type J rear bumper being notorious for getting waves on the top portion of the bumper and my question is what did you guys do to get rid of this problem? I dont want to get the bumper and have it end up wavy 99% of the time. Any help on this is greatly appricated.
Get some aluminum angle at a hardware store and make brackets underneath the bumper. Drill holes in the metal bumper and bolt them down to that. Make sure you get angle cuz if its just flat stock it will bend and sag
you can also move the sides out a little farther, I did and it helped mine a lot.
