I wanted to make my taillights white like the car below. I just wanted to know what type of white paint to use, what steps to take, how and what to watch out for when i remove the taillights. Any little detail and information will help. Thanks in advance for your help.

I did mine with G.M. spray touch up paint so it would match dead on. Take them off and wash them good. Tape around the light circles and hit it with a good quality primer. Then just spray them the color match paint. Pull off the masking tape and and hit it with a good enamel clear coat and there you go. Now true you can have them sprayed by a pro at a shop as I'm sure some will say if not it'll look bad but if you take your time and do a good job then the result you get from a rattle can can be just as good as that from a gun and it'll be a lot less expensive for you to do it.

I had it done with some other work, i'm not sure how much just painting the tails cost
I'm not sure what they did or how they did it either lol. I just told them what I wanted and thats what they gave me.
