Grill mesh - suggestions?

I have seen many cars with the mesh, some look and some dont. Has anyone put the mesh behind the the inlets. Also, the do it yourselfers, are you just getting the mesh at your local hardware store or you buying it through a parts house?

That is mesh from Menards, gutter guard actually. 8 bucks for 20 feet. and i used liquid nails and silicone to hold i in. Works like a charm. catches bugs like crazy.but other than that easy.

I have galvanized (won't rust) masonry mesh in my front bumper openings. It looks exactly like the expensive stuff you would buy from a big company, but I got like 8 feet of it for around $6.00 from Menard's. This is really thick stuff so it is basically just bent into shape and then held in place with a few small screws through the bottom of the bumper. Be careful if you use this stuff because it's really f****** sharp and will cut the hell out of your hands.

I had Gutter Guard before and I didn't like it because the holes were too small and it looked really ghetto and cheap (no offense ^).

Very nice it does look crappy compared to yours. Now that i see it. I was looking at some masonry mesh left over from the rock face fireplace and wondered how it would look. Damn looks like you are going to make me change but how did you attach them so youdont see the screws?

@ Vincent Morris: Yeah, I love the way it looks even though it's only the stock bumper. I put the screws through the mesh and then through the bottom of the bumper. Like I said in my first post what mainly holds the mesh in place is the fact that it's really thick and holds it's shape really well. Unfortunately the screws are hidden so well that I don't really have any decent pictures of how they look. Below is the best one I could find... you have to look really closely. If you have any more questions, please feel free to email me any time: j_to_envy@yahoo.com.
