Okay, I just want your opinion on what would look best. I have a 2002, with a dual exhaust, and a stock rear bumper that has a single cut out. I dont want to get a full kit yet so im just looking to buy a rear bumper off of a 95-99 or a 03-05. I have an add in the classifieds if you have either for sale. But im wondering what you think would look best. Both do not have cutouts, im looking more twords the 95-99 (preferably z24) because its lower on sides than it is in th back so I can raise my exhaust a little and then the bumper will hide the exhaust some. And the 03-05 bumpers are more straight across so it would look like what i basically have now, just without the cut out... Need opinions please...
Here is a picture of what it looks like now. You can see that the left exhaust pipe has a cutout over it but the right side does not. You can also tell how the exhaust is fairly visible on the sides and hangs down a little. I want it to look like it fits the car a little better, but i can not afford to buy, ship, paint, and fit an entire kit right now. And i do like how my car looks without one.... Any suggestions?
I apologize for posting this thread twice, i do not know why it did that, administrators please delete one, i apologize for the inconveniance.
i think you should double post lol... just kidding im not sure

best would be to cut your bumper a little for the 2nd tip , and then get the lip from the 02 and cut it give you the room that the other muffler has
and using the 03-05 ls sport rear bumper youll have to cut for the 2nd muffler also
For the 03-05 bumper i was planning on just getting the regular LS/Base Bumper, w/out the lip. The reason I dont want to deal with cutouts is because the exhuast isnt lined up perfect and if u look reeaal close u can tell the exhaust is just to the right of the cutout. It looks fine and centered from behind so its not a big deal just the bumpers make it look off having the cutouts there, so i want a bumper without one, preferably.
One suggestion would be possibly getting the rear lip for the 00-02 rears that allow for a dual exhaust setup. Then you could just move your mufflers down enoguh to compensate for lip and you would have coverage on both sides hiding the mufflers better.

Do you know where i can find this? (Also, if i get a lip that goes over the rear bumper, wouldnt there be a hole between the lip and the bumper where the cutout is?)
im selling a stock 03 rear base one silver

Karo at Carcustoms would be my first bet since he has free shipping. And no the lip covers that area in the bumper. The way the lip is made it comes up just enough over the bottom of the bumper that it hides the exhaust cutout area.
Here is a picture of the rear lip I was mentioning on my car.
Hopefully that'll give you a better idea of how it looks.

I think it looks fine the way it is. If you're gonna be saving up for a kit then why waste money on a bumper you're gonna want to get rid of when you get the kit? Your car is a work in progress. Not all works in progress need to be exactly perfect 100% of the time. A rear lip would just make the rest of the car look like it has a bad haircut.
just cut the exhaust make an angle and re do it once the bumper is on if u want it that bad
So the RKsport lip kit, (the rear lip) would cover the exhaust cutout, and fit the bumper well as is? ive been wanting to get the lip kit but was worried about the rear bumper.
