ok so today i put my cf emblem on the back of my 04 that i got from steve it looks great!!!....so than i go ahead and i do my front emblem.....and for some reason i guess i left it laying around too long or something and there wasn't enough sticky to it so i used a little bit of glue to put it on and all of a sudden the skies opened up and it poured raining.....well i came back outside and it looks like the emblem foamed up and the glue dripped and foamed all over that middle piece....and now it's like all white and sh*t....OMG help me out i don't know what to do ...i tried goo gone didn't work....wtf.....am i gonna have to get this thing high speed buffed or repainted or what...OMG please help me...i'm freaking out because everything else looks awesome.....sh*t!....

That sucks. The only things I can suggest are to try Clay Bar or bumper sticker remover from an Auto Parts store or spread shaving cream, yes shaving cream, all over the effected area. I've seen shaving cream eat through wood stain so it might not be the best choice for your paint job. Test a very small spot first if you go that route. Hopefully someone on here will come up with a better suggestion. Good luck.
if its glue or glue residue, wouldnt hot water and some rubbing take it off? if that doesnt work, try putting on some wax and buffing it. if it helps, then you know what direction to go from there. good luck man. im sorry it happened. i wish we had some kind of rain here in cali.

i did some searchs ....it looks like they say paint thinner will work?????is this true????...i read in a search a couple guys used paint thinner and said it works great will get anything off the paint....than just wax,polish and bufff////?????

id be safe and use hot water first if you have not already. then i suppose try the thinner. i just hope it does not hurt the clear coat. good luck man.

REMAIN CALM!! try either Meguiers body scrub or kits scratch out. Your gonna have to buff like you've never buffed before but this stuff is good. I hope it works for you.

OK so I used acetone paint thinner from autozone and it worked beautifully......it took the glue off my paint with no problem...just did a little dab and rubbed in circular motion and than immediately wiped it with a clean rag and than i waxed the areas.....no problem whatsoever....looks good as new......thanks for everyone's help and now I just need to track down steve from blue cav customs and get my hands on a new cf front bowtie and i'm all set......thanks again everyone.....
