we plan on doing the whole thing or just the outer whatever the customer wants. We just finished a new set for the olds alero 99 up models. If you go to www.indyextremecustoms.com you can see our work on other custom made tail lights. We also are makeing custom made LED 3rd brake lights as well.

It says on your site that these tails are 100% legal. In order to be legal in most places there has to be a red reflector on the back fo the car, not just red bulbs.

Looks like you guys are putting some hard work into these. I wish you luck, but I think you might be about 10 years too late on this, clear tails ahve been out dated for a while, and with your tails ranging from $350-650 I don't know how good of a responce you're going to get.

Re: customs clear tailights

not legal in maine either..... care to defend you "50 state legal" argument now? and WOW "i know what lets do, lets make some tail lights that no one has wanted since 99, and sell them for $500 more than theyre worth.. THEN when its all said and done, we'll make some crap up about them being legal when they're not" good luck

first off they are legal for we have sold several sets to alero owners in main, pa cali all accrossed the us! We have never had a problem. second the prices on our site are for the alero. the ones that run 650.00 are the LED tails. first when it comes to the prices for the cavalier we havent set a price because we dont know how much trouble that we will run into. also when it comes to prices you have to remeber that these tails on our site are 1 not severly remanufacutured, that is why we are the only ones who make the tails for the alero! See you are judging the price off of the alero tails, yet I havent siad anything about the cavi tail prices which they would be cheaper because ! the alero has 4 lights to redo as compaired to the cavi only having 2 possible 3.

Hey guys, I am the creator of these, first of all I am the only person that makes them for the Alero. We dont have a massive aftermarket like there is for the Cavy. Each set I handmake to whatever specs the person wants, whether clear, altezza, led or anything else. Rich has a 03-05 Cavalier and he said that there isnt an aftermarket for taillights. So we were inquiring if anyone wanted any. Thats it. As far as being legal, every set that ive sold has been fine. Granted if you have some sort of tests in your state, then you would possibly get in trouble. But if you are that concerned with it, then buy yourself some red reflective tape and do some fancy striping or something on it. (issue resolved)

If we were in an enormous aftermarket pool, then yes the prices would be too much...but until I see them mass produced, the prices are good for something that is hand made.

Email me or Rich with any questions.

I hate to say it dude. but your friend dose not really know about cavaliers i have a 03 cavalier and i now have aftermarket tails.

all you need is a set from 95-02 and the rksport cf Bezel
you can get the Euro Tail Lens,Carbon Fiber Euro Tail Lens Set

or you can even get the toyota cavliers tails just needs a little wire work but who cares.

or if you don't want the cf Bezel then all you need is a new or used Trunk from 00-02.

so you should tell your friend rick there are tails for a 03-05.

you mean, like a state inspection inspection, where they should check the DOT certification on the lights??

if you have to add a reflector, its not legal

So you're saying these lights are legal, until you get caught with them?
Not trying to be a dick, but until you get DOT approval, they aren't legal on the road.

Re: customs clear tailights

there technically are tails for the 03-05 cavaliers as mentioned above, but there are also zero direct replacements including the middle piece. So it's the half truth above.

your logic is a joke. no one's been caught and ticketed yet, so they must be legal.

if you can get a judge or police officer in NY to back that those lights are 100% street legal... or you can show me proof that they ARE DOT approved... you can sign me up for a pair.... but until then... i KNOW they are illegal in NY... MUST HAVE RED BACKING... no clear w/ red bulbs... clear w/ red bulbs = equipment + moving violation... hurts the pocket money wise... trust me...
