I just happened to see a C/F Air ram hood for my sunfire, and bought it for $150 in mint condition, never used.
Its the same hood seen in this pic, and i dont know who's car it is, so if you pissed i borrowed your pic, im sorry.
However I have an electric suicide hood thingie coming in the mail. Its universal, and its meant for the Fiberglass hood sitting in my garage.
So how do i bolt up the brackets to Carbon fiber?

that's Her0in's sunfire (i should know, i took that pic). as for bolting the suicide hinges to the underside of the hood, if it's the Class Glass hood (which his is), it'll be really difficult. there's almost nothing under that hood to bolt anything to.

Will fiberglass stick to Carbon fiber? If it does, ill see about making thick mounts of fiberglass and stainless steel.

yes, fiberglass will stick to carbon fiber.
I wouldnt trust it unless you really marked up the bottom of the hood, may want to glass a square steel bar where the screws will go.
that hood looks good. of course ive got one too...
and you can glass the hood just like you would any fiberglass hood.....
if you get the hinges installed, post pics cause id like to see.

cool. you should have told me you wanted a c/f one....i just glassed eyelids to my carbon hood and painted it. we could have swapped. kind of a waste of a good c/f hood....but whatcha gonna do, right?

right... Class Glass doesn't make the carbon fiber hoods anymore because (IIRC) there were too many problems with getting the weave to lay without mistakes.
^^it wasnt the weave that was the problem.....but they blackened around the scoop and an inch or so by the windshield. the weave looked good. (see the pic in the first post above) people just didnt like it being blackened any...
and lawnmower: ive had this hood for two years now.
