ok I have been looking at body kits on ebay.. there are some decent ones.. found one for 290 + 150... so 440 total.. and I go to read buyer comments and they all rate really well.. it's just the few that are bad are ones saying it's broken, or it doesn't fit well.. so I'm wanting to know if anyone else has bought on ebay and there experience... or maybe give me some good links to ones that are good.. not rich here so saving money is always appealing..lol
usually they dont fit well. most times they are really thin and dont have enough glass on them. for like an extra 75 bucks you can get a kit from someone on the org. jason is a great guy to deal with at apluperformance.com. frank is running a gp in the gp section on kits. i believe free shipping too.
the apluperformance.com link did not work
i got my bumper from ebay, its urethane and it fits great. only had a little problem but that was due to a bent fender

Just remember....a cheap kit COULD mean a big body shop bill...
I purchased a BMX kit online the company was really shifty IMO. Took me a few months to recieve the product (directly from China, yet they stated it was produced in CA).
The product was faily decent for the price ($420 + $125 - $150 shipping), there was minor repair needed to the kit, few small stress cracks, but you have to expect that when shipping glass from CA to IN.
The side skirts where a little too messed up for me to use them, the upper rear of the skirt was missing some fiberglass i was going to use urethane putty to finish the mold and make it look solid instead of an added on piece, but I finally decided to just order urethane sides (I havent decided which sides I want.).
I like the type-j sides but can't find them at a good enough price.
I will probably end up getting Pure (brand name) urethane sides, BMX style.
Try to find a seller that says "Guaranteed fitment" or something like that, cause then they will have to honor their advertisement.
This is the exact kit and seller I bought from
You always take a chance when ordering from Ebay, but at least they have a few ways to protect you from swindlers.
also a place to consider is cheapkitsdirect.com....iv heard they were decent (if i remember right) on fitment...plus you can get what you want shipped to your door for $400, though personally i would pay the extra $ and get it from Jason at a plus performance just because of the great customer service he offers to us here at jbo

i have a ebay kit and its not bad, but some spots are thin and fitment was a little strange. plus there was a piece missing from a corner about the size of a dime. shippment was fast tho
spend the money and get a quality kit from jason@ aplus. you wont regret it, he always has ways of working things out.he doesnet pay us to reccomend him, we all ahve just had great experiences with him.
reccomendation- GET URETHANE! its MUCH more durable, and MUCH less likely to be damaged in shipping.

well I'm a salesman, and I love good customer service and if Jason is part of the group, I'm game there.. I do want to do the urethane though.. less work I am told.. just got home and checking the site out now.. thanx for all the feedback.. everywhere I go they laugh at me for having a cav..lol
i got a kit from a dood on ebay....its the one on my car, i also bought the fenders from him as well.
Only bad thing i have to say is the shipping took forever cuz he said the rear wasnt in stock. I filed a paypal complaint and BAMMMM theres a rear and everything is on its way.
Full BMX kit and z3 fenders for $499 shipped.
Had the kit and fenders installed by a high school body shop, results are on my cardomain page, keep in mind i had to move 700 miles away, about 2 weeks before completion, which is why it is not finished.
