I see nothing wrong with it. Definitely will not turn you into a homosexual (not that there's anything wrong with that)

I don't know why graphics are such a major taboo in here. It's so freakin BORING for every J owner to drive around in the same damn car. Clean is great, but there's nothing wrong with graphics or there would be no industry for it.

Putting graphics on a car is as natural as any other mod.

I say go for it.

get yourself a couple sheets of it from a sign shop and cut it yourself...save major moolah. cost ya MAYBE 40-50 bucks that way.

I agree, racing stripes do flow with muscle cars... but it can be pulled off on some cars - I don't have anything against racing stripes but IMO I just don't like those, some can look pretty sweet but hey it's still better than putting on decals on your car of brands that you don't even use.. hate that.

I think those pictures look more like a Dodge Neon then a Cavi, doesn't look bad.

But, I personally wouldn't do it to my car.

I heard that Rally Stripes do add more speed then stickers though

as far as vinyl expesnse goes, alot of graphics you can get for a car are pre cut so they have more than they will probably sell. so like with any mass produced product they charge more per unit to make up for what never sells. also if you they designed at a shop, they gotta pay the designer, and they probably have some nice (very expensive) equipment to cut or print on to vinyl. you won't see someone accurately cut an elaborate design out of vinyl and not go thru the paper backing so that it comes off easily. at least not in any reasonable amount of time.

as far as the racing stripes go, i don't know if i like them on the cavaliers. if it's your thing, do it. if you wanted to paint your car bright pink, most people would say not to. but in the end it's your car, if you think it'll look good go for it.

I inquired about a full body wrap. The guy says price is determined by design and amount of colors. Anyone done this or know the approx. cost? He wouldn't give me a ballpark.

I fully agree. People around here don't take any risks and are too afraid of trying something different.

I have a stripe on my car and I like it. It makes my car look different from the two or three other yellow sunfires in the area. People know it's me when they see me. I like having something different, conformity is boring.

Customizing cars is about being different than the other guy . If someone wants to put stripes on a car be it new or old let him . It beats the HUGE APC stickers in the back glass of a 77' Monte Carlo .
