Brake drum paint..

im startting to repaint my drums so i scuffed them up really good with 3m red pads and shot them with 500 degree primer and then i sprayed 500 degree blue and i sprayed one coat and it wasnt shinny at all so i look at the bottom of the can and see it says flat blue so im like ahh crap, so my question is since i sprayed a light coat on each drum woukld i be able to go over it again in another engine enamel paint in bright blue and it be fine ?

Moms & Dads talk to your kids, before its too late, tell them to say no to aluminum wings.

I highly recommend just painting over them in flat black so they practically disappear behind your wheels.

Why would you want to draw attention to the fact that you've got drum brakes? Painting them flat black keeps things looking clean rather than crappy AND rusty and doesn't draw attention to them. Let people notice your wheels... not your drums.
