May be a dumb question...I have a 97 cavalier and am looking to replace the trunk lid. I know any 95-99 lid would fit, but will a lid for a 4 door fit the same for my coupe? Also, would a 2000 and on fit as well? Thanks.

Yes, but the sedans (mine anyway) don't have a seatbelt holder in the headrest.
A sunfire sedan trunk lid will fit your car too.

4 door seats incline back only. why would it need to incline forward?
I wouldn't really call that an incline... it's more of a folding action. That's not really something that matters anyway, unless you're putting sedan seats in a coupe.

Question...I am going to swap my trunk lid for a different one. I never thought about the locks being different. I guess it doesn't really matter since I use the keyless entry for the trunk. Is there a easy way to change the locks out? Also, is the latch on my trunk what matters as for as the programming with the keyless goes? Just a few things I never thought about...

All you have to do is when you change out the trunk lid... just change your lock with the new lid. It's very easy and nothing has to be "programmed" Once you get it off the car it's very self explainatory!
Have you done this? How does the lock come out? Do you have to pry it from where it is held inside?
