I am not sure what the actual name of them are but the lines under the tail lights on the 95-99 Cavalier. Are they there for a reason? If I fill them in will they crack?

I hope so.... I am going to do the relocation behind the tail light. I really hate those lines!
My brother told me that they are on the car for flexing?! I would hate to fill them then they crack...

I searched and couldn't find anything but I also didn't know what they were called lol

Has anyone done it and it cracked?

What was yall's process for shaving these. I would be afraid of using resin and body filler to smooth them out? wouldn't welding them out be a better process?

always use metal to fill in places when shaving something off the car and then use the body filler to get the small imperfections

The Piece under the tail light is plastic so keep that in mind. I molded mine with duramix 4040. Its expensive but it sticks and flexes very well

This topic would have been much more amusing if it hadn't been posted by a girl.

Sorry... just had to throw that in.

I tried to order fusor and they said they couldn't get it, they said they could order me some panel bond.
Is plastic filler or fibreglass all that bad to put in a little crack like that?
