Just curious if anyone has actually weighed a stock hood, carbon fiber hood and fiberglass hood. Just wonderin how much weight I can save by ditchin the stock hood. Thanks.

not really. kinda the same. ive had both f/g and c/f hoods. both are way lighter then the stock hood. my fg ram air hood i could lift open w/ one finger. sure you can do that with a stock hood but you need to put much more effort into it. as for the spare tire. yea that will help, probably close but not the same. all though you will be saving money by just doin' that
