CF Hood

I wanted to get a VIS carbon fiber hood either the Evo or the Invader. On the VIS website it says they are intended for off road use only, are they legal and alright to use as a daily driver. Would you recommend that I get one or buy a OEM hood because I recently got in an accident and I need to get a new hood?

they just put "for off road use only" on there to save their butts in case anything reaslly strange happens and someone gets injured due to having their hood. many people have VIS hoods, and they are fine. personally, i'd get the carbon fiber hood.

All the manufacturers have that tag line to cover their butts like Cannon said.... OEM, or vented, they'll all work the same. If you need one, let me know.

Depends how you do them. I have had allot of people like the way the hood pins look on my car. And i'm stuck with a stock hood.
