this gets brought up about once a week. please search.
Well I have red rum customs. They are nice. They have been on my car since November at the body shop. I have air ride and the doors have been up when I raised the car before and they took it without a problem. See when I raise my car, it literally jumps off the ground, to me thats shows this kit can with stand some impact. I paid 550 shipped. Another nice thing i like about them is that I can open my door regular like it was factory or straight up. Well hope that helps

It was direct bolt, took 2hrs per door and that was us installing and going around the molded sideskirts. You can check www.redrumcustoms.com

$475 shipped.....can't beat that
^^^^^^^^^^^ yeah ........................just buy a set if you dont like em sell em.
I got mine for Red Rum Customs for $475 shipped to my door.
The thing i liked about Red Rum was they have a Toll Free number so when if any problems would arise, i know there would be an easy way to contact them rather then waiting for an e-mail.
And the guys at Red Rum were nice enough to match the $475 price and shipped them 3day shipping just cause i needed them ASAP!
Finally the hinges themselves are very nice. Complete bolt on and like QUEEN Z said they hold up very nicely!!
Go with RRC and you won't be disapointed
honestly, i have the modified motorsports kit, and have had it on for a few weeks.
very strong, easy installation and joe's right, for a proven excellent product, you CANT beat $475.

i am getting road noise from mine. anyone have any idea why? they work great. just not sealing up tight.

It's because you took out a pretty good amount of the inner fender that blocks some wind noise, you should take a day off and try to adjust them tighter they should seal very tight... also another way to test them is to take it to a car wash and pressure spray them... no leaks = sealed! if you have a leak re-adjust! It should take at least 30-45 minutes to adjust each side correctly and tightly but once you do that you'll never have a problem...
washed the car lastnight. no leaks but when i put my hand up i can push a finger through the weather stripping....but i guess i'll have to do some more work on it. ^^ thanks for the advice though.
You might want to replace the weather stripping... it should be stiff enough that you can't stick a finger through it.... think about it this way if you can stick a finger through it... guess what a thief can stick through there?
