hey guys alright b/4 i get cracked on it is for show purpose completely i want to get the effect of havn't a nitrous purge kit but w/o nitrous, i figured if i use my CO2 tank from my paintball gun and some sort of selenoid and connectors i can make a purge kit from that. My question is how would i do this what needs to be connected and how. thanks

Anyways I'm thinking of doing this myself to cool the charge pipes on the supercharger not actually injecting it in but cooling the pipe Im going to be doing some research on it

I know Summit also sells an LED (only saw it in blue though) purge kit for about 100-130
But like everyone has said, with a little ingenuity I'm sure you could whip something up yourself that'll cost even less.
For a super simple setup idea:
Your CO2 tank connected via hose to a simple manual valve to release the gas. The hose from the valve leads to your purge nozzles, mounted wherever you want, and voila.. you're done.
But for something a little more intricate, it'll take time, and with this being for show purposes, I'm sure you want it to look as good as possible....

Anyone ever try using those little Nitrous cartridges they sell for home made whip cream things.... "Lil whip" or "Whip it" cartridges........
I know its not useable for actually Nitrous injections, but you could use them for Purg shows if you wanted I assume....... would be interesting figuring out how to trigger them though, lol

I was on summit and it looks like that it uses some piece that hooks in line with the intake tubing and its liquid cry02 the 10lb bottle kit is made by DEI and is almost 400 bucks what I would like to know is where you get refils of the stuff

CO2 you can find at sports authority any paintball shop anything really
just from my experience from when i had nitrous that purge will only last about 2-3 shots i had a like the biggest nx kit and just used the purge and it didnt last long at all you could use it all in one night just purging but a cheap way would be buy a valve for airbags (you will have to have some sort of valve for it to work so you can open and close it next use brake line to make your purge line out of and just hook up the tank to the valve valve to switch and the valve to the exhause line (brake line) if you use compressed air rater than co2 it will be cheeper and you can get a big tank from allmost anywhere ive seen ppl use tanks from welders for theirs and that will basically work and you will get more air that way its just basically the same setup you use for air ride but only 1 switch but when you purge it wont blow white like nitrous it will just make the noise hope this helps

get one of the smart parts replacement co2 valves(the closeable ones) toss it on a 20 oz connected to a short pipe from under your dash to your cowl when you feel like it open the valve for a few seconds(2-300 pounds shot off at the absolute most...)

can one of those paintball places fill a 10lb bottle? I wouldnt be using it to purge im using it to cool the intake charge on a vortech supercharger
