Hey guys,
I know there's a lot of controversy over this, but I've done some searching and haven't come up with the answer. Has anyone bought a TRD Spoiler from a Celica and got it to fit perfectly on a Cavalier? I know they sell the Universal TRD Spoiler's all over the internet, but I was looking at one for a Celica on ebay today and really wanted it...
Does anyone know a place that sells these or if they fit? Thanks in advance.

Thats what Im putting on mine, Used to have the non-TRD spoiler from the celicas, I like the TRD and I belive it will flow with the new kit and all so IM putting it on.
Friend of mines swapping to an aftermarket one on his Celi and i bought his for 120.
Ill get some pics up when i get mine on, however mine is a sunfire and ill be molding it.
The cavaliers have a pretty flat trunk so you should be able to just bolt it on?
i have also been considering that type of spoiler, but i dunno, ive got the avenger kit, dont think it would flow well....
I'm not too sure. I have the drift kit, so we'll see. I guess I'll just end up buying the universal spoiler on ebay...

there are probably 5+ people on here with the stock celica wing, myself included. i bought a new trunk lid without any holes in it and bolted the celica spoiler on without any problems, so i see no reason why the TRD won't fit.
when i mounted the stock celica wing, i reminded myself that someday i could always upgrade to the TRD spoiler
so yeah, man, go for it! get it onto your car and painted and let us see what it looks like.
the TRD will fit. its a matter of getting it to look decent with the car thats the problem. the celica has more straight lines and edges in its exterior design than the Js do. J's are more curves than straight edges, so having a wing thats boxy like that usually wont look good. the reason the non-TRD celica wing is becoming more popular on J's is because it flows with the curves of the bodylines. The TRD will not. but try it and find out how it looks. you can always sell it on ebay if you decide you dont like it.
