95-99 cars had the pieces separate. 00-02 they are connected to the bumper. 03+ they are integrated on a slope into the bumper.

Yep, and those integrated slopes look stupid, IMO. I really can't bring myself to like what they did there.

I used to not like them either, but now...for some reason, it's one of my favorite features, especially on the LS sports...very sexy, and I dont know why.

Yup, i put an 01 bumper on my car and i reused my 95-99 ones and cut em off the new bumper. i had red bumpers and skirts and the rest of the car was black. It looked stupid with two red things stickin up on each side of the trunk.

i thought that on the 00-02 models they were bolted to the trunk and could be removed and int 03 is when they molded them into the bumper.

I may be wrong.....if so correct me'

95-01 were supposed to have the pieces separate. 02 had them attached to the bumper, but not molded. 03+ had them attached and molded/sloped. they connect by one bolt in the trunk. they are dirt cheap at a junkyard. i was actually gonna pick some up last week, but i was freezing my balls off so i said screw it. lol.

btw....why are you asking about it? got a project in mind?

^^ Yea for sure... get em at a junk yard if you can. I'd just get them from a dealer for you at a discount, but even with that, they aren't close to being cheap, lol
