ok i have seen pics of 2.4 with msd coils wondering if any one can give me some insight on this it seems at hight rps my coils seem to break down

I think what your seeing is MSD adapters for their line of DIS 2 ignition systems....although they may make a stand alone coil for the 2.4. Try MSD's website, or summit racing.

ya i keep getting an ignition over load code so i fugred if its broke upgrade it

would this swap work on a 2.3 from a 95 z24?
Of course, you could also skip buying hundreds of dollars of redundant parts and just buy a waste spark, MSD Ford or Mitsu(Neon) coil and a connector and just run the 3 coil wires to it from under the IDI.

I have an MSD i havent put on yet and i wasnt sure about the coil packs. I called MSD and they said i could hook it up to the 2.4 coil packs. Did this guy know what he was talking about or do i have to get different coils????
