HP Tuners, will it work with LS1 TB?
Saturday, June 16, 2007 11:58 AM
I noticed a lot of people use HP Tunrs here.Im interested but don't know if it will work with my plans. im building a time attack car and im going to buy the sheet metal intake and an LS1 throttle body. Is there a way to get the HP Tuners to control that or will i have to go stand alone?

Throttle bodies on our cars arn't controled by the ECU, they are controlled by a cable attached to the gas pedal. As long as you use the same TPS sensor, or the LS1 TPS puts out the same voltage scale the stock one does, there shouldn't be a problem. HPT has nothing to do with it.

The LS1 throttle body sensors are plug in and go. Now the physical mounting of the throttle body is where the words "fabrication" and "welding" come into play, for a flange for the t/b to mount to.

I'm using a big boy throttle body no issues.
