Tuning for an auto
Thursday, May 31, 2007 10:22 PM
I just got Hp tuners and a Wideband and im trying to learn how to do all this stuff. I want to tweak my auto transmission a bit first. I adjusted the trans torque managment with the instructions on 4cyltuner.com. I was wondering about adjuting line pressure and the speed between shifts, If im not mistaken isnt that how the B&M shift plus works? Just double checking here I want firmer faster shifts without the B&M shiftplus...but I dont wanna blow my tranny up either. Thanks for any help.

depends on if you have a 3 or a 4 speed tranny, with a 3 speed you can buy a shift kit to hydraulically push more fluid thru the lines, however if you have a 4 speed tranny you can get the b and m electronically controlled with settings to push more line pressure for harder shifts, other than that
