Megasquirt IAC

I have a 2002 Ecotec with the Hahn Stage II kit. I am currently in the middle of assembling my MS-II with the version 3.0 board. I have been reading into my instructions and reading a lot about the IAC. Does the Ecotec have a stepper or PWM IAC? What I really want to know is what people did about the IAC thing. Do I even need to install it? I just want to know where to go from here. I am at a stopping point until I figure out this IAC issue so I just need to know what I need to do. Thanks

I belive all GM motors since the early 90's or maybe even late 80's have used stepper IAC's. I'm looking at the 95'-04' Haynes manual, and I don't see any exception for the Ecotec motor, so I think it is safe to say you have a stepper IAC as well. In any case, check the IAC valve sensor and make sure there are 4 wires. (on the ld9 it is 2 blue and 2 green wires).

"Youth in Asia"...I don't see anything wrong with that.
