I am wondering do I need the cd initially to even be able to use hptuners. Then go get the updates or patches from there, or is it possible to download the program and make it work somehow. Please I need help in any fashion possible
The cd contains the required interface drivers to enable the communication with the interface and then to the car.
without them the interface won't work.
The updates can be used to install the full program and then open and view files once the Key is entered, but no changes can be made or saved without the interface.

So is there some kind of link in hptuners to do this because I have looked and I cannot seem to find it, but I maybe looking in the wrong place. I a quite desperate hence the post. I really need to change some things. Thanks.
1. You need the cable.
2. If you have the cable, you have the CD (or at least had it).
3. You can download the drivers from the forums, just search for drivers, its a sticky in the support forum I believe.
4. Even if you have the software, you cannot change anything without licensing the car, this requires the cable, no cable, no changes.

I have all of the equipment just no cd. So it is possible to still be able to install it on my computer and use it then.
I do not have a customer log in, now what do I do.
