Sorry if this has been covered before, I searched and couldn't find it...

I am looking for a drop-in chip for my 93 Cavi 2.2L. Something along the Hypertech/Jet chip lines. I have searched all over on the internet, and the only thing I can find for a 93 is for the V6.

I realize that most of you are tuning pros and HP Tuners would be a better way to go...however, this is for dirt track racing, and I don't want to spend any more than I have to (or learn to program), so a drop-in option would be far better for me.

If you know where I can find something like this for a 93 2.2L, please let me know!

best bet is to probably find somebody with tunercat (i think its called) and have them burn you a new chip specifically for your purpose. hpt is obd-II only and as such, will not help your situation. you'd get FAR better results than you would with a generic chip anyway, and probably at about the same or not much more cost.

Otherwise, anyone know of any other way to raise the rev limiter? Not by a lot, mind you, but an extra 500 rpms would be nice. That is the primary thing I want to accomplish, although anyone who knows anything about tuning and can help with other timing issues would be great as well.
