Just found it on streetfire. I almost want to say on the second run the STI misshifted into 4th, could be wrong though.
I've beaten standard wrx's, but would NOT expect to beat an sti until I get my reflash and other mods performed, they are just too fast for a stock SS cobalt to hang with in my opinion.

Maybe I got a bad DL, but the only run I saw the SS took it.... by like 3 feet... Of course it would be different from a dig...

well it looked like in the 2nd race the cobalt jumped out by about half a car and ws able to hold off the sube.
I think with only a few minor mods, and a good driver and a good launch the SS S/C could take a stock STI pretty easy.

Cobalt SS's need lighter wheels. I weighed the stock wheels and tires at Gravana's and they weigh 48.5 LBS.
One of the biggest performance upgrades for that car is going to be some lightweight wheels.
