Well, i was on vacation with the family a few weeks ago, and we were driving down the road when this...thing came rollin by. It looked so cool that we had to follow it back to the shop to get pics.
*Gasp* This world is soooo not right.
Well, it certainly is original, I'll give them that much. But why a cavalier?
yea....i was wondering why a cavalier myself....but hey w/e dude. It can run pretty hard too, seeing as how 3/4 the weight is gone. lol If ya notice its an auto and the stick is mounted on the top of the tank. Also all the ac stuff, brake master cylinder, and all steering compents have been removed.

An even better question is... Why a 2.2 ohv?
That's a waste......of a perfectly good motorcycle.

police let him drive that on the street, but i get in @!#$ for having my windows tinted to dark....sad sad world we live in....
So is it Front or rear wheel drive?

That was no harley.. It look really really Yamaha to me.. The tank scream Yammy as does the wheel and the gauges.. The bike disk brakes up front say no to the Harley aspect as well.
Hey, 130HP trike is kinda cool.. They certainly could have dressed it up better though.. Like why retain the j-body body parts?
Definately origina, but that ain't no Harley... Almost as dumb as a Harley, but not quite there yet.

wow thats pretty cool.
hey is that blue thing by where the windshield would be a spoiler? ? ??
happy happy joy joy

yeah I shuld have said motorcycle it's not big enough 2 be harley. And not 2 steal the thread or start sum retarded online quarell or anything but whats wrong with Harleys?? Is it because there better than any jap bike will ever be?
Damn, all that thing needs is a some paint and a drop...lol. That's crazy though.
actually that blue piece is just a new piece that they stuck on there to cover the hole. Ohh, and they finished it and took it for a spin for the first time right when we saw it and decided to look at it. They were testing it out, and sending it off to Stergis right away
Umm, well, I think motorcycles are great performers.. Accelerate quickly, turn in fast, brakes like anchors.. Harleys cost 4x as much and perform half as well.
For less than $10K you can get a bike that runs a 9s 1/4 and will corner at 1.1 G. Try that on a $40K Harley.
If you like cruisers, sure, nice bike, nice to look at, and fairly well made. They do not have the top build quality though and they are definately over-priced for what you get. Heck, there engine disigner quit because the company is too crappy for him to continue working there.. They have been bailed out of bankruptcy how many times now? At least 3 times in the last 20 years. But ya, they're great.. You can keep believing that they are better than Japanese bikes all you want.. You'd be wrong, but that's OK.

I've just been raised up in a bit of a biased enviroment lmao. My dad used to own several including a custom 1953 chopper it was sweet I'll post pics sumtime.
Fair enough.. I would likely drool over an old classic as well.. I have a friend with a 1940 Indian that he spent rediculous amounts of money on restoring it. I love it, but I'd never actually buy one.
Don't get me wrong. HD has done alot for the industry. I just think that it's time they started to move foreward a bit, and they have.. For example you can now get disk brakes, you couldn't until the last couple years, and stopping 700+ pounds of chrome aint easy
Personally, I like sportbikes, to me, that's what bikes are all about, that and off-road.. Cruisers are definately not my cup of tea. They are nice to look at but anything that is called a motocycle but has more chrome than a 57 bell aire isn't something I'd buy.
Hey, really, anything on 2 wheels is better than a cage.

why is a harly dumb???
anyway
interesting vehicle
could have getten a petter engine tho
bike are not all about racing and off roading,
they have cruisers too for a reason, i know its your preferance but you aren't the only consumer they have to cater to
I'm not a customer in that market at all.
I explained my stance. If I wanted a couch on wheels, I'd just take the cage for a tour.
That said, if I did want a cruiser, I could still get a better bike for half the money. It just would have "Harley Davidson" written on it.
Check the Jap cruisers, some are quite cool, like Honda's Rune. Then there's Victory and Indian (If you want US built). Then there's Triumph and the Euro stuff. Every one of them lower priced and better built.
Eric Buell quit.. Don't you get it. The guy who is responsible for building Harley's purposefull lumpy engine, quit. He just up and left. They tried to bait him back by letting him build a sportbike, but there was too much Harley in the bike and it , well, it didn't exactly flop, but it sure didn't fly.
Thanks to Buel, I have sat on a 450lb sportbike
they couldve at least painted the bumper to match first

hmmm could look better... i personally think it would look better with the cavy rear on there instead of the front end.
and i love harleys... greatly built bikes, look great, and hold their value better than most cars on the market.
