Well, I have done enough to the cavy for now and I wanted another toy to play with... so I went out and found a 91 Mustang LX 5.0 original South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Coupe. Now I know I know... most say WTF how could you buy a car thats been run into the ground. Well I saw documentation on motor work and tranny and rear end work that was well worth the asking price (all being new or completly rebuilt). Plus it has the 160 MPH speedo which is a very rare find. Only 6 of these cars were used as highway patrol vehicles in south carolina. So Yeah... I talked myself into it. Granted its fast, The outside it rough and so is the interior. I say a month or two of hard work and I will have a car that turns heads. My question is, besides ebay does anyone know a good place to get the old fox body parts and have forum discussions much like this place...? Let me know....
i may be getting an 87 GT in a month or two, a coworker of mine is selling it and mechanically it is in pretty good condotion cause he doesn't race or anything. but like yours the exterior and interior is ehh no rust but could use some work. And he said once he gets a new car when he graduates college in the fall he would give me the car to see what i could do with it...
