But yes, hopefully a more aggressive look. I don't like the idea of it being 4 doors, blah. Hopefully a v-8 and still rearwheel or awd drive at least.

Well, if Chrysler can phuck up the Charger, no doubt GM can do it with the GTO!!! I'll boycott GM if they ever do anything stupid to tarnish the names of once great cars. There is simply NO POINT in EVER ruining great cars by making them into 4-door sedans. Granted, the new Dodge Magnum sedan might be a nice car, but a Charger it's not. Do we really need nameplates ruined by making 4-door Chargers, GTO's, Camaro's or Sunfires(

Because GM is in sore need of a RWD performance car, this is the best they've currently got, (except for the Vette and Caddy SRX, of course) and with the minimal investment caused by an already available platform, they've probably already more than made up the cost of bringing the GTO over.

Every dealer Ive been to before I bought mine couldn't keep the same ne on the lot for more than 2 weeks
The dealer I bought mine from sold 6 or 7 in one week including mine

i love how people think the gto isnt selling well because the 04 didnt. The 05 gto is selling great. Doing better than what gm expected. They didnt want a high volume car. Also its been selling so great that gm didnt put it on the employee discount.

Those don't appear to be very well drawn, things look all out of perspective/porportion and stuff, i think it merely hints at where they are giong with it, 2 more years and we shall see though.

I must admit the new design is much better at least it looks like something unique rather than a grand prix with a v8

^^^Sweet i'd take that over a Camaro cop car any day. and i remember the motor trend article and thinking the artist rendering of that GTO looked kinda elementary. and too much like a stretched out Mustang. i'm thinking it's a dream car.
