This car is the best the higher the speed.
When I race mustang GT's they have me off the line but I have them passed by the end of third gear. I've raced a wrx before and won also,
but an sti would rape me.

The official speed was like 146 I believe, but I seen guys hit 149. No one to 150 on a stock computer yet.

Correct. I've only beaten 94-97 gt stangs, never raced a new one!

yikes...the 94-97's are only 215 HP at the crank. I would have though the cobalt would have done better if its supposed to be an SRT-4 equivalent 
It's definitely an equivalent!! It's not quite as fast (I've raced an Srt4 and lost by a carlength) as the srt-4, but both car and driven and motor trend ran equal quarter mile times 14.4
Although in real life although both cars are underrated power wise that the srt-4 is faster STOCK than the ss. And the SS is a pain in the @ss to launch, probably the worst, it's wheelspin city!!
But I love the refinement, looks (neons look like eggs) and stereo and overall experience this car provides. For 19,500 this is alot of car still. However yes the srt-4 is faster and cheaper stock, it's up to you what's more important.
Any car can be made fast!
