Next weekend i'm going to Alabama to pick up my new car. Its a black 1992 240sx 5-speed. Completely stock. I'm really excited. My wife is making me get rid of one of my other cars though =/ so i'm getting rid of the non-turbo talon. Probably gonna sell the turbo talon also for money for parts on the 240. No plans of a motor swap yet. First thing I want to do is suspension/handeling mods.

I know a guy here who has an All-Trac celica. AWD Turbo. They're pretty rare. They're pigs though. He only ran a 15.7 at the track. That was on 9psi though.

Yea, they are real heavy. Plus he had a boost leak so he only had 9psi instead of like 12+

How much did you pick up that 240sx for if you don't mind? You do have a good candidate for a swap if you decide to do one in the future.

I have been looking around for one for a while but haven't came up with one I want. I really enjoy those cars and would like to pick one up as a project / daily driver to save miles on the Jeep. I get sick of working on my buddies 240 and want my own

I got a good deal about all I can say =P No rust. Paint is a little faded but not bad. 5-speed of course. Its black but now looks grey.

I'm suppose to get it this weekend. The guy is about 9 hours from my house. He was going to meet me half way. So it wasn't too bad, but now he's talking like he doesn't want to drive halfway. Wants me to come the whole 9 hours. If thats the case i'll use too much gas and wont be worth it =/

I'll have to see what works out. I really hope it does i'm really excited. I already thought about the swap. SR20DET swap isn't that expensive. I'm gonna be pissed if I can't get it. I've been waiting all week and been really excited, lol.

copying me =) i got mine for 350 bucks no engine or trans. clean interior and body isn't to bad either!

one big thing you need to look out for with the 240 is the frame rust, once it startes there is no stoping it. so it will rust untill it falls apart. if you have one with a rusted frame, mich as well just junk it
