Dodge Neon (Not SRT-4)

Does anyone know any good forums for a 1996 Dodge Neon? Its a 2.0 SOHC Sport Coupe, 5-speed. I bought it for $150 and the shift linkage is messed up. Was wanting some good sites for the neons if anyone knows any.

Thanks

www.dodgeforum.com and www.dodgetalk.com. They're Dodge only sites and if the Neon boys are anything like the truck boys you'l get plenty of good info.

Yea, there are a lot of people selling cheap cars here. I think its becase of the Air Force base and LSU College. People get shipped to another base and instead of taking their cheap car they just sell it. Buy anotherone when they get to their new base. College kids have these decent cars and something goes wrong. Mechanic wants 500 to fix it so they just spend 400 or 500 and pick up another cheap car.

This Neon is just an amazing deal. Its a 96 with 95k on it. Exterrior is in great shape. Interrior is just as clean to match it. Lady is original owner and has all the papers for it when she first bought it. Her and her husband are splitting up and she just wants it gone. Doesn't even wanna take it to a mechanic to have it fixed. I even offered to fix it for her for cheap. Her husband will get it when they split up and she'd rather it just be gone.

^ That's why I don't have it any more... it already had the head gasket done when I bought it but I got tired of replacing seals. That thing leaked from everywhere... But it was fun to drive. I miss driving it, NOT owning it.

Why is that? It doesn't have a blown headgasket now. I'm selling it not driving it. Figure its so clean I should be able to get a grand out of it easy. Maybe more if I hold out.

Same here, Im glad mine 95 is gone. Oh so glad. I blew the head gasket and had to drive home with it from college, with 3 leaking cylinders. It was a very fun 45 min drive.
