Fully Restored '71 Dodge Challenger convertable

Well at least it used to be fully restored, till some dumb 19yr old girl decided to turn it into a drive-thru. They towed this to the shop a couple days ago (didn't have much time to take pics before I had to wrap it in plastic to protect whatever is salvageable from rain). The owner is a pretty popular radio personality in the Tampa Bay area (Mason Dixon if anyone knows/cares). This was his favorite car, but he's lucky to be alive. They took out his speen, broke a few ribs and a collar bone, was in ICU for a few days, but he's gonna be fine. They valued the car at $75,000. We're not going to repair it, its pretty much unrepairable, but there is talks of somehow having it brought back to life (new frame and body pretty much). They figure, if they can have it redone for like $50-55,000 then its worth it to the insurance company to do it.

Such a beautiful car destroyed in a matter of seconds, my condolences to the driver and his family, I have to stop looking at it now, it hurts too much.

You could have warned us....LOL!!! I was hoping to see a non-wreaked Challenger!

At least he survived that.
