So I've been working on older cars lately. My friend Todd has been doing this out of his yard for 20 years now, and I'm starting my own project soon. Anyway I shot these real quick to give some of you guys something to look at. All of these cars will be drivers and NOT TRAILER QUEENS. Onto the pics!
Todd's 34 Coupe that was just chopped due to the whole roof being too far gone to fix, so now it will be a sweet roadster. You can see Todd on the phone in the back.
This is my friends 57 Buick. This thing is going all out. Everthing is being done in and out. Air-ride suspension is also sitting in the living room. The kid has lots of money and knows alot about cars
Jeff's 48 Oldsmobile Sedan
Holla, 64 Chevy Impala. We're putting in a new oil pump and some minor exterior work. This isnt really anybodys car since its for sale.
Borsty should like this. I believe this is a 73 (not exactly sure of the year) Camaro
The engine is decent but every panel needs to be replaced but the guy who owns it loves it to death and would never part from it.
This is Todd's personal car, its a 58 Bel Air. It's totally drivable but we're waiting on the power steering hoses.

Cars get finished faster when customers come up with cash, The Buick is getting done very fast. There are more cars, but thats whats in the yard currently.

that 64 impala is hot. thats my dream car
Yeah the 34 coupe (well, ex-coupe) is going to be sweet. Its only going to have rear brakes the whole front end is going to be open. We might be getting the engine for it within the month.
As the the Impala, that thing is sweet. It has a Chevy 350 small block all chromed and what not. The interior is black and red, the dash and steering wheel is red and the interior is all black. If I had 8-9 grand on me it would be mine.

72 Camaro......split front bumper.
Very nice cars! I have always wanted to restore an older one like those.
Tribals: I knew I was close because of the split bumper, just didnt quite remember. Yeah that thing has ALOT to restore, but it'd be worth a whole lot if it was. For now its a huge rust bucket.

That 34 coupe would be badass! You are lucky to get a chance to work on all those older cars! I'm jealous!
LUCKY! Now Those are cars! I like everything cept that camaro, I like it, but just not into muscle cars as I am hot rods. What do you have in mind for your project? I'm hoping to find a 50 Merc.
Right now, once I sell my cavy I got a 1953 Buick Special Hardtop with a straight 8. Shall be quite badass. I can't wait to get started.

Deez: Last I saw, a 49 Merc, basketcase went for just under $18,000 (USD!). It's a GREAT project, but only if you have a lot of cash on hand to complete the project.
Jonathan: nice pics... definitely. I'd go with the Camaro, because I like the Muscle Cars, and the Camaro there looks like it needs a good bit of work, but it can give back a WHOLE lot too.

GAM: Its going to need at least 10k in work. But yeah It'll be worth more than twice that after its done. Sadly, it wont be worked on anytime soon.

Man, if that were mine, I'd hold it until I could work on it as well, but that's just a shame.. is it his daily warrior or is he just... um... "aging it" outside?
Kinda funny: I spied the "NOT FOR SALE" bit in grease pencil... Is it all Original?
I saw one similar to Tribal's sig, but it was customised totally... the original engine, trans and rear-end were long gone when he bought it, but he really made his stand out. LT-4 engine with the trans and rear end from a vette. This was about 15 years ago, but it was very, very sweet. I had thought about doing the same thing to an older GTO that was kicking around here, but just my luck, the guy wanted about $3000 more than I had on hand.
I ended up wasting the money on Unversity.
