oh my god, thank you, ill stop weeping soon, dont worry
The Sky Redline will share that same motor. Does anyone else think that the "ECOTEC Turbo" logo on the block looks like a photoshop? maybe i'm just being pesimistic.
I'd like to see the Cobalt SS with that same setup....I'll bet you it will.
I don't see GM spending the money to tune two forced induction setups on the same motor....it would be cheaper to focus on the turbo... okay maybe there i'm being optimistic haha
Hasn't it been proven time and time again that Cheers and Gears is a highly unreliable source of information, or am I confusing it with another site.
Yella02-I promise I will return to you in one piece and this will stay up until I am safely home
if its true....I'm hard thinkin about it
and I DEFINITELY know my next purchase lol
Not my type of car, but damn its nice.. Why couldnt they put that engine in a cav or cobalt:

If and when the rumors become official, I say "YAY" to GM. But make it no less then 250HP please. In Europe, the same engine is doing 247HP. Lets cross fingers.
I see that there are some 2.4L Eco pieces on those pics. Lets hope it becomes reality.

I'm not getting my hopes up. GM usually says well we might do something awsome but then decide not to. Looks sexy though
2006 Cobalt SS 2.4L 9.6 @74mph 1/8th mile w/2.28 60ft
The Sky is a much better looking car IMHO, but its good to hear that GM is actually thinking about putting those cars and that engine together.
the sky redline has already announced a 240hp version of the car already (correct me if im wrong, but i thought i read this somewhere)....i could of sowrn they were using a slightly modified version of the 2.0 s/c ecotec
and by the time this comes out or if it does, I should be shopping for a new car
nice.
Wait, if the exhaust is on the driver side, the turbo should be on the passanger side.
Why does the air intake lead to the passanger side and not to the turbo?
No, no. It can't be a performance version. My question, just ignore it. Look at the intake for this thing. Do you see a throttle body? It the rear pic what is the fitting with a red cap?
wtf im unautherized........damn it
maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow....... but some day
