Is the botom lip on the front fender a 2 piece deal? If so, I have another reason to stay away from the cobalt.. I have the 2 piece lip kit on my 02.. A chunk of ice that I hit really slowly smashed the lip into pieces.. Under further investigation I found the rear and front lips are held on by cheap clips and duct tape!! Way to go GM..

yea its a lip, just like a lip kit, thats what they use and do, lots of companys do it, its on there nice, and i wont be driving threw ice in this SS, so i dont gotta worry bout that

...seriously, a lip kit is held on with doublestick tape and SOMETIMES screws/tabs...but that's if you're lucky. i had to reinforce my TRD kit(yes, from toyota itself) with bolts to hold it on.

Tell me about it I got my SS the 30th (April) and it had 32 miles when I left the lot now it has 364 miles and yea this car is awesome really fun to drive!!!

I don't have the Cobalt SS/SC, I couldnt wait for it. I bought an Ion Red Line instead. I have had it for about 6 weeks. needless to say it has over 5500 miles on it, it had 200 when i got it. these cars are incredibly fun to drive. that is not a lie.

Again very nice car and that color looks awesome...and the rear end with out the chevy bow tie looks really good I may have to take the bow tie off my trunk as well
