why are you such a skeptic phil??? Just cause one car can beat something and you cant doesnt mean he's hiding something.
Think about it the 05 RSX comes with 210 hp, add I,H,E to that and thats easy 30+HP on that car. So that puts it at or above the S. Im guessing that those videos where at Sea level and the guy is obviously a good driver . So there really isnt any reason why he couldnt beat those cars. The Evo was stock and AWD and the Srt-4 was stock to. Totally believable. Glad you'll never see that guy, would hate to hear you bitch about him beating you to.

those cars are so fast for n/a. i have yet to run into one that wants to play though.

Actually, 30HP is not a completely unreasonable amount to gain for I/H/E on an RSX-S.
Keep in mind he's talking about flywheel power too (30 HP ~= 25 WHP)
Intakes alone have dynoed over 10whp gains on the RSX-S.
The S2000 is a different story, I've heard that it is very hard to get much more power out of them.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble (except brew-san) but the K20Z1 (05 RSX-S engine is pretty much the JDM K20A Type-R engine - other than the pistions) is a very awesome engine when it comes to modding and tunning.
RSX's respond very well to mods. With a AEM CAI, DC Sports Race Header, engine management such as Hondata #4 or K-Pro, and free flowing exhaust (any well made cat back - like a Fujitsubo Powergetter); You can push well over 200+ at the wheels easy, which in some cases can be 30 to 40 increase in HP. And that would be with the corked up K20A2 that comes in the 02-04 RSX Type-S. With the K20Z1's freer flowing intake, exhaust and head, it could easily push even farther.
AEM was able to pull 54HP and 49.7Ft/Lbs over a stock 2002 Acura RSX Type-S with the same list of power mods from above. I will admit I am not sure if that was with a chassis dyno or engine dyno. I will try to find out.

I just can't see 30hp increase. I need proof. But im not saying i dont like the rsx's. I think that sucker sounded mean and i love the new headlights. I'm thinking i may pick one up later on as a Daily Driver when my sunfire just goes flat out insane.

only saving grace is the six speed
because the 04+ srt-4's dyno at 230 stock at the wheels
but they have a 5 speed so the gearing advantage would go to the rsx-s because w/ a 5-speed that car would be slow as balls
out of its powerband on everyshift
kinda like what happens to the s2000 in the vid you can hear it bog everyshift
the rsx was reageared for 05 thats why it seems much faster with only 10 more hp. and 30hp from i/h/e is not uncommon.

How does a stock SRT-4 hang better than an EVO?
I believe that he beat the SRT-4....but considering that the RSX with those mods (don't know why I didn't see hondata in his mods list????) is probably a mid -high13 second car (with hondata) the EVO should have been a better race. The EVO obviously needed a better driver.
After another look...
I/H/E is probably low 14's at best. he needs to race some people who know how to drive. The celica with intake was probably only a high 14 sec car (14.8 ish) at best.
