A cool little find..
Im sure some of you may have heard of the Bugatti Veyron. Its engine is simply a technological feat of all engine design. It is a W 16 quad turbo, DOHC (64 valves). Simply amazing. Its like putting 2 v8 next to eachother, but ran off 1 drive shaft, and then slapping 4 turbos on it.
ANyway, i found a really nice video of the engine desgn. I'll let it do all the explaining.

Last year a guy almost control on one of those things on a race track VW was scared shhiiteless. lol
As for technological tour de force. I nominate a Wankel engine not a piston engine IMO. This engine is just plain a monster.
