you always see jeep, but i got a blazer well let me fill you in on some background...............
this is my 1997 Chevy Blazer LT
when i first got it from my dad he paid 2900 or close to that for it, he gave it to me after a few years of use (never beat on with the original 4.3 vortec v6) when he got it it had about 130k-150k........well few years later (more like 2-3 years)and it just turned over to 191k miles, still running as good as the day my bought it, i am the 3rd owner as far as i know, well i am now running mobil 1 full synthetic oil in it, running 235x75x15 need some knew tires............here what i have done to it since i got it :
new fuel pump
new fuel pressure regulator
spectre 3" cone filter on stock housing =D (in other words 3inch cone filter on the intake where the airbox went)
4 foot CB antenna
midland 1001z CB
driving assist lights from optronics
2 6" offroad lights from optronics
had a panisonic cd player but that blew replaced with a pioneer
1000 watt sony xplod amp
1 1200watt sony xplod sub
heres to come eventually
2 or 3 inch suspension lift
31x10.5 BFG's or firestone destionation tires
(i know im misspelling alot here too lazy to type correct)
roof basket
maybe a spare tire carrier (tail gate) < more than likely
know for some pictures =)
in the ditch
when every thing started........the cb antenna is hard to see
the inside
meanwhile i was at a Rally America show off before the rally started i fell in love with this LS1 s10
after the driving assist lights
pretty much as it stands today
another
lights
and the crowded engine bay
and the gears sticker
Blazer lifts and parts are fairly cheap...
My budy is taking his lift off to put a bigger one on it,if he wants to sell it ill let you know.
How did you attach the lights in the grill?
Drilled a hole all it is.........is plastic
i dont have an autozone up here, i only have o'reilly's lol............and the filter i bought from napa other than that, the cb and antenna came from a truck stop
I liked the truck better before the random blue fogs..
Looks to be a pretty clean truck though, The bravada is getting a small lift and some bigger tires on stock wheels once I get around to it. Then that will be all other than possibly a rear spare tire carrier.
paint your chrome grille black, ditch the fogs. lift it. grille guard, step sides. and roof rack it should be looking pretty good.
the front blue fogs are just there till i find something else to stick there, i plan on getting a roof rack and lifting when i get enough money, bigger tires for sure.......probablly 31x10.5 and as for the chrome grill paint idk, and grill guard im trying to find one, maybe off of a jeep or something
