I have not seen this before, I'm sure some of you may have.

Quite interesting to say the least, But the ugliest thing I have ever seen

Interesting for sure!

Cant be uglier than a Yellow cavalier with baby blue/purple wheels though.

I wonder how many other cars they make them for. This is the only one I have seen so far..

Well that's an interesting way to keep things cool lol

I think bigfoot is blurry,
that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra
scary to me. There's a large, out-of-focus monster, roaming the countryside.

I think I would at least spray it body color or black.

I guess it's not as bad as the rusted hood look.

from another site i was looking at a while back. looks like mostly an srt-4 thing and they are discontinued.

Also, rainstorm = no no and have fun recleaning your engine every few days. I didn't notice a huge difference with high speed drag or whatnot, but it has been a few years since I had it. I think the holes are small enough that air at higher speeds just flows over them for the most part as if the hood was solid. The cooling factor was kind of nice though, I think my car idled maybe 10* cooler with the Grip hood on it.

QFT... & it's literally too.
I can also see this as a hood that will not flop up & down at high speeds.
Interesting.

it looks kinda neat, but it would be absolutely worthless. might as well not even have a hood.

I can see a few cars being able to pull that look off and nicely. Depending on how air flow really is I could also see that being practical for anyone with high heat setups under the hood, turbos, 4-2-1 header ha etc. I wonder how strong it is too.

Won't see it on my car but I like the creativity.

would have been nice for the firebird. that thing made some obscene heat.

I kinda like it. More of a show car piece.

Very interesting.

If i had a show car I'd rock it. I like it...A lot actually. Almost to the point im about to go to the store and get some chicken wire and cut apart a old hood i have laying around and redneck it. Almost to that point. Not yet though.

Yea according to the SRT guys in that thread the company only made about 25 of them and no one would buy them. Now that they don't make them anymore they go for a pretty penny. LOL sounds a lot like j-body.

The one on the silver SRT4 looks like crap, however, the blue car's hood looks much nicer. smoother looking edges and better fitment. Reminds me of when clear plexi-hoods were popular.

I disagree I think it looks better on the silver SRT, the only reason it looks better on the blue one is cause that one has carbon fiber fenders. Judging by just color I think silver would take it.
