Ive had this bravada about 3 weeks. Runs and drives great, but once you drive it for about 45 minutes of more it has hard 1st to 2nd upshifts, then the ses light comes on. Ran the code on my scan tool, P1870, looked it up online and it deals with the valve body in the transmission. Apparently anything older than a 2000 with the 4L60E has a faulty pressure switch on the valve body. The problem is the transmission is only the same from 98-99. But a camaro or firebird also runs the 4L60E minus the transfer case of course. So could I possibly get the valve body out of a 2000 camaro and swap it into my 98 Bravada? Any help is appreciated.

I have heard about using some corvette trans part to smooth the shifts. But I do not know alot about trannies, so I have not done it on mine
