Just a quick question for those who own or have owned Honda's before. What are your opinions on them? Fun little cars for the weekend or simply a DD? I ask because I'm looking at a 2000 Acura Integra GSR that has been modified. Just to name a few mods:
98 JDM ITR Swap w/ P73 "Feels" Ecu
Password JDM Intake
JDM ITR Header w/ Benen heat sheild
Apexi cat back
HR springs on Tokico struts
15" Volk TE37 gold wheels.
List goes on. Has power everything including A/C for the Florida heat. I was thinking about offering him $6500 seeing as it needs some body work on the rear done. What do yall think?
6500 seems like a bit much a 2000 GSR with a even here a GSR with a rough body won't fetch that much. TO boot I always nag on Teggy's for being lead sleds.

id make a great daily, id only get it for 6500 if the exterior and int. are perfect. but thats just me
What is the milage on the chassis? On the swap? Was it professionally done? One of my friends learned from first hand experience that thanks to the internet any schmuck can swap engines in these things and take shortcuts that later make diagnosing problems complete hell.
The B18c5 is a sweet powerplant, but don't let that distract you from the fact that well done body work is expensive. A good paint job (unless you know someone) is going to be over 1000 dollars...
Those things considered, I would look up the KBB on the stock car with the chassis milage and subtract a reasonable amount (10-20
for the work that needs to be done.
It books at around 6200 for 67,000 miles on the body. He has the swap done locally by a well known shop and tuned as well. I'm not set on it. My biggest gripe is the rear hatch needs the emblem holes shaved and a repaint. Also, teh back bumper sags and has a noticeable crack on the passenger side. Would need a new rear bumper.
I would go more then 5000 on it, there's a mint condition GSR fully loaded right down the street with mods, and has less miles. GSRs are great, but not for that much, not worth it imo.
I'm not going anywhere just yet

Welcome to the DC world. This is a very very common problem. I sent you a PM on topendusa.com. Probably gonna let my integra go if you're interested. I guarantee its faster than a ITR swap =P
