Not a fan of the way the BOV is mounted but it looks great. I love the intake!!!

Its not a BOV...

Its called a recirculation valve. No (Psssssssh sound) when you let off from acceleration. VW 1.8T, 2.0T, Subaru WRX & STi, and all stock factory turbo cars have them. Erik didn't want a BOV to keep the sleeper look he has going.

Is your stock intercooler lying around? do u want to sell it?

Everything is gorgeous.
Intake mani makes me need to change my pants.
So did the turbo header.
And finished project as well.
Very nice work guys, If I lived closer I would love to hand my car over to you guys for a similar build(cash willing)

Nice, need better pics though

man that car looks great
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...

Mmmm...whoever built that charge piping must be one heckuva guy

Lol... Did Erik happen to mention which throttle body he's using? I have a feeling people might like it.

Hmm... Personally, I think I would have kept the laminova and just had them put a new upper plenum on it, but nice fab work none the less, and I'm sure it'll be a beast when you've got her all tuned. LSJ's love turbos, its a shame more SS owners don't realize that.

Lol...awwwww, c'mon, man! Where's the SS
love!?! But yeah, we really do. It's such an awesome material and the benefits greatly outweigh the...well...weight.

My guess - mid to high 300 whp. The lsj probably let out a sigh of relief when you started it and it realized it had a turbo instead of the eaton

If it fails to put down more than 330 its not even worth turboing, you can get that from supercharging

has someone put down that much on the MP62? Or are you refering to a blower swap? I though mid to high 200s was the limit for the Eaton, and that was after extensive supporting mods that may very well add up to thousands of dollars

Why are the runners all goofy looking? Couldn't you guys figure out how to make them straight?

280-290 is about as good as it gets on m62 on a stock motor internally, with a tvs it extends it another 40-50hp, so around 340ish is as good as you will get with a supercharger, but a blower swap only runs you about 1600, far less than any turbo even homebrew kits
So for a turbo kit to only make 350ish its not worth the extra cost, well tuned turbo setups have gone 400+ before though on a stock motor.

I see. but you are going to spend a lot to get to that 280-290 on the mp62 - pulleys, heat exchangers, meth injection, lots of tune time, ect. The exhaust you can negate, because you'll need it either way (turbo or supercharged).
I think this is an awesome alternative to 300whp starting from a stock SS. If you've already spent all the money on cooling mods ect, then a blower swap is more cost effective. I believe most of the 400+whp balts are running the 3076r, which should be an easy upgrade from the 3071r in the kit above.
