Ok long story short... I've been staying on top of my college tuition with no help from my parents, and when they asked to help I said that I'd rather have them help me get a new vehicle. Well my mother had a 2002 Jaguar X-Type 3.0 that I just couldn't drive enough. She had been looking for a new SUV, so she gave me her car for whatever I got for my cavalier. Nice upgrade right? lol. And please spare me the whole deal about x-types being fords underneath. Trust me I already know and I could care less it still feels great driving, and looks sexy (just ask the girls here at Purdue lol). And either way, it's a nice step up from a cavalier.

Now for my question. I didn't know if it would belong in the other cars or audio forum, so if it's in the wrong place please move it. So these past two years, me and a bunch of other people have been throwing outdoor tailgaiting parties. Basically we get to the tailgating fields before football games, find a nice big spot in the middle, throw on some music on my JBL 15" PA speakers, and watch the drunk people come and party before/after/during the game. It's great fun. For the music, I always DJ'ed on my cdj's. What I really want to do for this year's tailgating season, among other events, is install a sound system in my car that I can use to play outdoors. It wouldn't have to be the same one I listen to when I'm driving, but this is the general idea.... Load up my gear, get where I'm going. Park the Jag and pop the trunk where I would have the sound system installed, and just plug the output of my mixer to the system. But the key is I want it to have a more classy look like it's really a mod to the car, and not just speakers that I stuffed in the trunk. I hate to say it but it sounds like something from Pimp My Ride. But anyways, any websites/advice/good equpiment/other useful comments would be greatly appreciated. And I guess I should say that it doesn't have to be a top notch, audiophile approved system. Really that would be a waste of money when you think about the acoustics of playing outdoors. I just need it to be loud.
