i know this has nothing to do with a cavalier but i was wondering if anyone would know how reset the security system in a 01 alero gl
Try leaving the key in the "ON" position for 10 minutes. The security light will flash for 10 minutes or so then go out. If i doesn't work the first time you might have to do it 3 times for it to learn properly. Hope that help you.
