Hey guys. i need help finding a part for a 67 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. I work in a body shop and we recently had one come in that the a lady driving it didnt put it in park and it backed up with the door open and ripped the door off breaking bothe hinges. we had them welded back together (cast) and they did not allow the door to shut fully (by a foot at least). so while the owner/boss tried tweeking the hinges to work he broke the bottom one again. he says that the hinges are not available and has not even tried finding them and now he wants us to again weld the hinge and make them work. none of us think that we can get the hinges to work nor will they hold long. so. in turn. us bodymen would like to see if we can find some hinges to prevent the inevitable. now dont get me wrong. we are a great shop. but. our boss can be lazy sometimes. i have tried ebay. and multiple other places. so now i reach out to other people on here to help find these hinges. im hoping that somebody may be able to find some hinges. thanks alot guys. and i hope you can help.
