Normally, I don't like many Neons. Seems like the mods that most people do are ugly as sin. Especially if it isn't an SRT-4. But 90% of the things I dislike individually work perfectly together with your car. The hood/spoiler/side decals all work GORGEOUSLY for what I think you were going for(possibly a very loose throw back to the old muscle cars... VERY loose being a Neon and all lol). I wouldn't like any of those mods alone, but they work together. The wheels were a decent shot at being modern but trying to be somewhat like the old style. I am torn on the wheels honestly. The engine paint and decal was a nice touch too! Love the body kit and love the exhaust.... overall you made me like a car that I can't stand!
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

i honestly dont like anything about it at all.
Yes, I wanted to do an old school Mopar theme, and I've always loved the '70 AAR Cuda, so that's what I went for. I know it will never be a 'Cuda, but I didn't want to rice the car out and wanted to stick to Dodge's American heritage. Oh yeah...and for those who haven't noticed...the spoiler is from a Cavalier Z24
I've never liked Neons, but I like yours except for the stripes. I'd like to see it dropped a little more too. lol
If it was an SRT4 I'd say it looked ok.
Since its just a Neon with SRT4 bumpers and hood---- sorry, thats lame.

i like it, its not "unique" but it works well...
the only things i dont like are
how high its sitting.
and
the AAR badging. the stripes are cool, but that AAR sticker throws off the look.
and
NEON on the sides. we know its a neon.
i really do like it other than that...
this is probably the reason.

my friends old stage 3 mopar. hated the way it sounded but god it was fast.
I think it looks great, cleanly modded especially being of the non-SRT variety. Theme is cleanly done, especially in the engine-bay!
Props, welcome to the forum.
i think if the mirrors, spoiler and hood were painted the body style it would look much much better
I dig it. I like the wheels.
I'm not much of a neon guy but picked up a 2004 rt for cheap to get me to and from classes.
Shopping around for a good deal on a SRT4 atm.
I like the flat/matte black hood. Looks nice. Lose the decals on the side, and I'd like it alot more.

it actually doesnt look all that bad, it just carries the stigma of being a neon, kind of like all of our cars do

the decals are perfect except for the word "neon", i think its redundant redundant
JerseyJay, I love how if it were an SRT your opinion of his mods would change. Just one of those guys who doesn't look at how cleanly it was moded, or the theme he was going for, you simply say "it's not the faster model, so I am blind to anything you do" grow up there meat head.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

^ THANK YOU! I should have specified, since I should have known a J-Body group wouldn't have known the difference. The '05 Neons came with a package called the "SRT Design" package, which consisted of an SRT-4 "look-alike" front bumper (minus the radiator nostrils and bottom lip) and an SRT-4 hood with an "SRT-Design" scoop insert. I bought the front bumper because I hated the look of the stock bumper, and I knew that the Mopar lip kit would fit the SRT-Design bumper. Also, the fiberglass hood I had before wouldn't fit with the new bumper, so I found a guy with an SRT-4 hood and I traded him straight up. The car wasn't set up to look like an "SRT-4"...but if you're not knowlegeable with Neons, I guess you would think it's an SRT-4 clone. I assure you, it's not.
Sorry, just had to clear that up
BTW, I'm getting a new, better-looking stripe made next year. It's going to be the same style stripe, but a little different so it's more accurate of the original AAR 'Cuda. I found a guy that has made a few of them for a local speed shop that races SRT-4's and they are a much better looking stripe than the one I currently have.
Thanks for the comments! Positive and negative, I appreciate your feedback!
^Yea its funny when i googled SRT-D to compare with an SRT-D to make sure I was right before posting, the first link I got was you posting about getting that bumper on a different forum lol.
i like the theme you went with and you pulled it off well.
my only real gripe is the flat black on part of the headlight lenses... i'm not real big on it.
LOVE the shifter!
