96 astro trans removal

hi guys! Me and my friend will be removing the trans out of his 96 astro van. it is totally gone. We found a used one for $450 and will going that route. i have removed some for cavys and caravan but haven't done one for an astro. Anything special I should look for? Thanks in advance!
