well here is my progress thread for my 1983 aries convertible.car needs tons of work.i am just gonna make a beater out of it.on my way home the fuel pump took a dump.turned out the cam was wore inside the motor .so we built up weld on the fuel pump shaft to make up the difference as it is mechanical.worked fine.but now the started and rad took a dump so no driving right now. here she is when i bought her
well it was filthy and had a hole in the top .i patched the top with duct tape for now till i get some material.just to keep the rain outy./i scrubbed the interior.made a world of difference.i was gonna flat black the whole car so i did the hood first .the started on the body from the moldin gs down.prob leave it like that for a while.may do it all eventually.here she is as she sits today
i took the front rotors and calipers off to clean tomorrow at work and paint yellow.i have a can of yellow caliper paint given to me.i am not gonna buy some for this beast.prob will chan ge to red eventually but for now it was free.also have a wood steering wheel to install.i'll take pics when ik do.
oh i never finished the black aS I RAN OUT OF PAINT LOL

I know its just semantics, but thats a Dodge 600 convertibe, they never made a factory aries 'vert. but anyways good luck on the project!

well more progress.i finished painting for now last night.i am gonna leave it a 2 tone for a while caused
1 i ran out of paint
and 2 i thin k it would look dumb all black with a white top and red interior.
was thinking about doin the top black and doin the white part red to go with the interior.still may go all flat black.anyway got one side brakes on still gotta do the drivers side

also.my buddy hasd a screen that was given to me and he thinks he can get it goin so i may install and old school nintendo in this yet lol.gotta love beaters.
