Alright first off this vehicle is not mine... my sisters friend has it parked outside our place while they're on vacation.. however we need to move it... she just purchased the vehicle 2 weeks ago and gave use the extra key.... We also have the key code to unlock the vehicle using the key pad... however nothing is working.... If we open the vehicle using the key the alarm will go off and the vehicle won't start so thats not a option and we havn't tried that yet but that's what the dealer told her.....when we put hte key code in the pad lights up but does not unlock the vehicle.... and the key/keyfob all in one thing doesn't do anything.. you can press any button and nothing happens...

any tips?

have you check the keyfobs battery?

if its good hold lock and unlock till the car cycles the locks if it doesn't do that then not sure whats let to tell ya besides use the key. I've never hear of them not starting if you dont use the fob.

1,put the key in the drivers door lock(it has one) every car does

2,unlock it

3,if alarm sounds put the key in and start it and the alarm will turn off

If it doesn't turn off,just pop the hood and disconect the battery untill you can figure things out
