Bit of an odd question here. My dad asked me the last time I saw him if I'd find out if the rear axle from a 57 chevy is the same from a 62 impala. So I firgued I 'd see if anyone here knew. Thanks guys
Are you tring to find a rear that will fit in a '57 Chevy ?
My uncle is using a rear from a '03 Blazer 4x4.....3.73 gears w/ Disc brakes
The rear is only 1/2inch shorter and all you would have to do is cut off the blazer mounts and weld on '57 spring perches in the right location.
